
Serena Williams says she won’t play on the Tokyo Olympics
WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — Serena Williams says she won’t go to the Tokyo Olympics.
The tennis star is a four-time gold medalist. That features one in singles and three in doubles together with her older sister, Venus.
Williams didn’t need to say why she is skipping the journey to Japan.
She was requested about her Olympic plans throughout a pre-Wimbledon video convention with reporters Sunday.
The 39-year-old American joins different high tennis gamers together with Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem in saying they won’t go to the Olympics this 12 months.
Roger Federer mentioned Saturday he has not determined whether or not he’ll compete in Tokyo.
